Pinterest Analytics: Your Secret Weapon for Explosive Growth (and How to Use It Like a Pro!)

Ready to unleash the full potential of your Pinterest marketing? We’re diving deep into Pinterest analytics – your golden ticket to understanding what makes your audience tick.

Forget the “just post pretty pictures and hope for the best” approach. We’re talking about strategic moves that’ll turn your Pinterest into a lead-generating machine.

Why Pinterest Analytics Matter (Like, Really Matter)

Think of Pinterest analytics as your crystal ball. They show you:

  • Who’s vibing with your brand: Discover the demographics, interests, and even the devices your ideal clients use.
  • What content makes them swoon: Uncover the pins and topics that are sparking the most engagement.
  • How they’re interacting with your pins: Are they clicking through to your website? Are they saving your pins for later?

Armed with this intel, you can tailor your Pinterest strategy to perfection, serving up content that resonates like a love song.

Pinterest Management

WHY HIRE A PINTEREST MANAGER?

As a busy entrepreneur, you’re probably exhausted trying to keep up with all the changes and don’t have time to do #allthethings, so you are ready to outsource your Pinterest management and marketing to someone else so you can get more leads and traffic to your website and grow your business or blog to the next level and you can work in your zone of genius!

Your Pinterest Analytics Cheat Sheet

Don’t get overwhelmed by the data overload! Here are the most important metrics for service-based businesses like yours:

Impressions

How many times your pins have appeared in feeds, searches, and category pages.

Pin Clicks

How often people click on your pins to get a closer look.

Outbound Clicks

The holy grail! This is how many people click through to your website from your pins.

Total Sessions from Pinterest (Google Analytics)

How many website visits you’re getting from Pinterest traffic.

Pin Clicks vs. Outbound Clicks: Your Dynamic Duo

Think of Pin Clicks as the initial spark – someone’s intrigued! Outbound Clicks are where the magic happens – they’re the people who are genuinely interested in your services and are taking that next step to learn more.

By tracking these two metrics, you can pinpoint the content that’s not only catching eyes but also driving real, potential-client traffic to your site.

How to Use Your Pinterest Data Like a Boss

  1. Spot the Winners: Which pins are getting the most clicks and driving traffic? Make more of that kind of content!
  2. Ditch the Duds: If a pin isn’t performing, don’t be afraid to give it a refresh or try a different approach.
  3. Plan Ahead with Pinterest Trends: See what’s trending and create content that aligns with those hot topics.
  4. Refine and Repeat: Pinterest is always evolving. Keep checking your analytics regularly to adjust your strategy and stay ahead of the game.

The Bottom Line

Remember, Pinterest isn’t just about pretty pictures – it’s about connecting with your dream clients and growing your business. Let’s make Pinterest magic happen! ✨

How I Grew My Pinterest by 526% in 3 Months: Strategies for Female Service Providers

Hello and welcome! If you’re a female service provider looking to master Pinterest and grow your business, you’ve come to the right place. I’m Jen Vasquez, your friendly marketing cheerleader, and I’m here to share the exact strategies I used to skyrocket my Pinterest analytics. I’m not going to sugarcoat it; hard work and consistency are key. But by following the strategies below, you can achieve similar success.

*I use and love Tailwind This post contains an affiliate link, meaning I may earn a commission if you decide to purchase at no additional cost to you.

Disclaimer

Before I dive into the strategies, it’s important to remember that results can vary based on your industry, niche, and the ever-evolving Pinterest algorithm. However, the fundamentals I’ll cover remain crucial for Pinterest success.

Consistency is Key

Pinterest rewards consistency. Aim to pin 2-3 times daily, and use a scheduling tool like Tailwind to optimize your pinning times. Focus on delivering high-quality content that resonates with your target audience. Even if you don’t see immediate results, the work you do now will pay off in the long run – often within a 3-6 month period.

The Power of Keywords

Keywords are the backbone of Pinterest marketing. Conduct thorough keyword research using resources like:

  • Trends.pinterest.com
  • Pinterest’s search bar (look at the dropdown suggestions)
  • Search bubbles (multi colors for some depending upon where you are in the world)
  • Keywords Everywhere (for additional insights)

Update your keywords regularly (every 3-6 months) to stay ahead of the curve. Incorporate these keywords strategically into your pin titles, descriptions, boards, and profile.

Pinterest Management

Blogging: Your Pinterest Powerhouse

Blogging is a non-negotiable for Pinterest success. It fuels your content strategy and builds trust with your audience. Here’s why you should blog every week:

Educate your audience

Share valuable knowledge to establish yourself as an authority

Boost SEO

Get your website found on Google

Create a content loop

Repurpose blogs into multiple Pinterest pins

Pin with Purpose and Variety

Don’t just create pins; create them strategically! For each blog post, design 3-5 pins that highlight different aspects of the content. This maximizes visibility and engagement. Additionally, make sure to utilize the variety of pin formats Pinterest offers:

  • Static image pins
  • Video pins
  • Combination (image + video)

Experiment to see what works best for your audience!

Tap into Trends

Stay ahead of the game by tapping into Pinterest trends. Monitor trends.pinterest.com and create timely content that aligns with what people are searching for. For example, my “2024 Wedding Trends” pin went viral and contributed significantly to my growth.

Strategically Organized My Boards

Don’t underestimate the power of well-organized boards. It’s all about sending a crystal-clear message to your dream clients. Spend some quality time crafting titles and descriptions infused with your keywords for all your boards.

If you’ve transitioned from using Pinterest for hobbies to business, secret those boards.  You can still pin to them.  Secreting those boards means Pintereset can’t see them so it won’t skew your analytics or confuse Pinterest.

I’ve Joined Tailwind

Imagine having a magic wand for content scheduling and management with a boatload of AI tools included. Tailwind is that amazing tool!!

It’s your ticket to scheduling your content at optimal times, discovering inspiring content, and diving into detailed analytics. And, bonus points for them as you can cross post to Instagram and Facebook!

Audited My Pins

Quality control is an ongoing mission. Ensure your pins are top-notch, your content is relevant, and there are no broken links or spammy surprises. When looing at analytics (every single month), see which pins are the top pins by outbound clicks (those are the magic marketing analytics to growing traffic to your website).  Those pins will tell you what keywords are resonating and what designs do the best.

Scheduled My Pins At The Most Optimal Publishing Times

Timing is the secret sauce. I use Tailwind (for my clients too) to schedule pins strategically throughout the day. Don’t let them all flood in at once; spread the love! NOTE: allow 7 days between the same URL.

Tailwind Communities for the Win!

Group boards might not be cutting it, but Tailwind Communities are where the magic happens. Join communities aligned with your niche and watch the collaboration sparks fly. Share your content and access pins tailored to specific topics or industries. It’s all about teamwork.

Share Your Pinterest Pins Everywhere

It’s a simple yet super-effective strategy! Start asking people to pin your content. Invite your readers to share if they enjoyed your content. Every 3-4 blogs, encourage them to follow you on Pinterest or pin a post.

Optimized My Pin Design And Descriptions

Canva Pro and Tailwind Create are my go-to tools for crafting eye-catching pins. Ensure your pin title keywords are front and center—no tiny fonts or fancy handwriting. Always include your URL (like jenvazquezcoach.com) and a compelling call to action (download now, read now, etc.).

Need help? Grab my FREE 80 CTA’s for Pinterest pins at https://thepinterestqueen.com/resources.

Research The Best Keywords

Pinterest is your Google for educational and visual inspiration. Using keywords everywhere (and I mean everywhere!).  Use them for the text overlay on the pin, in the pin title, pin description, profile name and profile description as well as board titles and board descriptions.  NOTE: Did you know that pinterest even reads the name of the pin graphic.

Avoid keyword overkill, though; Pinterest’s algorithms are sharp. Describe your content naturally and personally. Remember, you’re here to serve your audience. Don’t forget to do keyword research on Pinterest itself!

Be Consistent: Pin Every Day

Nothing beats consistency. Pinning daily, whether it’s one pin or ten, is your golden ticket to supercharged growth.

Ready to fuel your Pinterest journey? These ten tips are your golden ticket to boosting your monthly views. If you found these Pinterest strategies as exciting as I do, don’t forget to pin this for future reference.

Ways To Use Pincodes

Sharing is caring, right? So let’s spread the Pincode love!

You can share your Pincode anywhere your heart desires. Just remember, when displaying your Pincode, make sure the circular part is at least 1.5 inches in diameter for optimal scannability. If you’re printing it on a physical object, go for a flat surface to keep it legible and fabulous.

Oh, and one last thing: Remember to play by the rules and only use images for your Pincode that you have the rights to. Just like any other Pin you create on Pinterest, let’s keep things legal and legit.

Website

You can share this code on your website as a quick way for people to access your free content on Pinterest.  It looks cool and encourages people to access your Pinterest and will typically follow your account.  This leads to engagement on Pinterest and all your pins will get more reach with more engagement.

Join forces with influencers, partners, or other brands to create collaborative campaigns using Pincodes. By featuring Pincodes in your joint marketing efforts, you can cross-promote each other’s content, expand your reach, and offer a seamless transition between brands. It’s a win-win situation!

Supercharge Your Service Business on Pinterest: Must-Have Boards!

Must-Have Boards for Pinterest as a Service Provider! Pins for blog by Jen Vazquez Media Pinterest Manager and Pinterest Marketing Strategist

Must-Have Boards for Pinterest as a Service Provider!

Are you a service provider looking to boost your online presence and attract more clients? Pinterest has got your back! I know it can feel a bit overwhelming at first, but fear not, my friend. I’m here to help you navigate the exciting world of Pinterest boards. The burning question on your mind is probably, “What Pinterest boards should I have?” Well, let’s dive in and find out together!

Understanding Pinterest Boards

Picture this: Pinterest boards are like virtual treasure chests filled with ideas from all over the internet. You can save images, articles, and more from any website out there (unless the website owner puts up a “no pinning” sign, like a digital bouncer). There are three main types of Pinterest boards:

  1. Public boards: These boards are open for everyone to see. Show off your expertise and let your content shine!
  2. Secret boards: Need to keep things hush-hush? Secret boards are your go-to. Only you and your trusted contributors can access them. All your personal Pinterest pinning should be done on secret boards. You can still pin to these boards.
  3. Archived boards: For your eyes only! These boards are purely personal, perfect for gathering inspiration or saving private gems.  You can’t pin to them but they aren’t lost.

Why Pinterest Boards Matter for Service Providers

Using my proven Pinterest Marketing Method, I help hyper-busy, female service providers create one marketing workflow to book more clients and increase their income and impact… in about an hour a week

Now, here’s where the magic happens. Each time you add a pin to a board, it gets exposed to your followers and the followers of that specific board. Imagine that—targeted exposure without spending a dime! But hold your horses, we need to set up strong and relevant boards right from the start to make the most of this golden opportunity.

Must-Have Boards for Pinterest as a Service Provider! Pins for blog by Jen Vazquez Media Pinterest Manager and Pinterest Marketing Strategist

Step 1: Evaluate Your Service Categories

Let’s start by identifying the core categories of your service business. Think about the services you offer and the expertise you bring to the table. We’re talking broad categories here, so you can cast a wide net. For example, if you’re a social media consultant, your categories might include:

  1. Social Media Marketing
  2. Content Strategy
  3. Branding
  4. Digital Advertising
  5. Analytics

Feel free to jot down your categories on a digital spreadsheet or a good old-fashioned piece of paper.

Step 2: Crafting the Perfect Pinterest Boards

Now, let’s get creative and strategize our board setup. The key here is to maximize visibility and reach. Aim to save each pin to at least five relevant public boards. More boards mean more chances for your content to go viral!

For each category, you’ll want a minimum of five boards. Remember, you can have up to 500 boards on your Pinterest account, but we’ll start with the essentials. Don’t go overboard all at once—pace yourself like a Pinterest pro.

Step 3: Board Naming with a Dash of Keywords

Here’s where we sprinkle some Pinterest magic dust on our boards. We want them to be relevant and search engine-friendly. To choose the perfect board titles, let’s tap into what Pinterest users are searching for.

Start by typing your first category into the Pinterest search bar. You’ll see a dropdown list of popular keywords related to your category. These suggestions are pure gold! Select the ones that best align with your content.

Remember, you can rearrange the keywords to make them sound natural while still being search-friendly. Let your creativity run wild!

Find ideas for boards by using your blog categories or business categories. Search on Pinterest and see the drop down menu for more keywords. by Jen Vazquez Media Pinterest Manager

Step 4: Optimize Your Boards with Pinterest SEO

Time to give your boards some SEO love! Add a board description using related keywords to boost.  This means that you have to go back into the boards you create to add a description.  Use as many keywords as you can while still making it “readable” by humans to win the SEO game!

Summary

Pinterest is a powerful tool that can supercharge your service business and help you attract more clients. By strategically creating and organizing your Pinterest boards, you can showcase your expertise, increase your online visibility, and reach a wider audience.

Remember to evaluate your service categories, craft relevant boards, and optimize them with keywords on a regular basis to enhance their searchability. With a little creativity and consistent effort, you can harness the potential of Pinterest to grow your service business and stand out in a competitive market.

So, don’t wait any longer—start creating those irresistible Pinterest boards and watch your business soar to new heights!
